NEW YORK CITY TERRORIST TRIAL
On September 11, 2001, terrorists crashed two planes into the World Trade Center buildings in New York, another into the Pentagon, and a fourth crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers fought back against the hijackers.
United States troops sent to Iraq captured several terrorists involved in the planning of the 9-11 attacks, and discovered linkages between them and terrorists who years earlier had truck-bombed the World Trade Center.
Now, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other 'alleged' terrorists are scheduled for trial. Originally, they were to be tried under Military rules as war criminals. But President Obama and his attorney general, Eric Holder, have decided to provide an opportunity for the terrorists to have a world-wide platform for their propaganda, broadcast live by Al Jazeera television to radical Islamists worldwide. This page provides information on this abuse of justice.

Steve Malzberg of WOR Radio and Curtis Slewa of WABC Radio were major speakers at the 9-11 Rally in New York.
More than 1000 people, including at least 8 from Morris County, braved rain, snow and very nasty weather to attend the rally opposing U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder's decision to put the 9-11 terrorists into the civil court system and bring the trial to downtown Manhattan.
See the website 911NeverForget.us for details. The rally protested 1) making the trials civil rather than military, which could allow lawyers to probe and release national security information (as has happened in past trials); 2) giving the radicals a platform from which to broadcast their hatred and propaganda world-wide as they seek martyrdom, and 3) placing the citizens of New York City at direct physical risk of terrorist attacks during the trial. Many felt the Obama administration is using these trials to put George Bush and Dick Cheney on trial, without regard to the other issues.

The storyline is hauntingly familiar: terrorist detainees were moved to a major city to await trial. While there, fellow Islamic terrorists decided to make a daring and dastardly attempt to gain their release, not by attacking the well-protected courtroom or the heavily guarded detention facility (they are bloodthirsty but they are not stupid), but by going for a more tantalizing target....
Many are asking why U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder would suddenly change the course of how the United States will treat admitted terrorists. Remember, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed HAD ALREADY ADMITTED to being mastermind of the 9-11 attacks on New York City, the Pentagon, and the believed attempt on the U.S. Capitol (Flight 93, which crashed at Shanksville, PA).
